I am stating that I understand that if I post any of my opinions
or work of arts, including but not limited to the forms and format
listed above, that I am giving Floetix.com the rights to move,
edit, censor and delete the works and opinions, and am giving
the viewers of the site the right to view and quote my work, as
long as proper credit is supplied.
In agreeing with the above statement I also understand that
I do not lose any rights to my works and that if at any time I
wish to have my works removed from the site I can send a query
to the owners. If for any reason the owners decide not remove
my work after a query then I give the site the rights to keep
my works on the site for archival reasons, because other people
may have read, replied about, made reference to, etc. my work
and therefore it may be required to keep my work online and
accessable in order to not interfer with the information and
references that other people have made about things I have posted.
I also agree by entering the Floetix.com Online Community Forums
that if I quote any work on the site in another post on this same
site that I will give proper credit to the author of the quotes. If I
wish to quote any works on another location then I have to ask
the author of the quote for permission to do so. If they decline
my request then I will not use their quote on another location.
By registering on the Floetix.com Online Community Forums I am
agreeing that all works and quotes posted are created by me
unless otherwise stated. I will not post any works that are not
mine and take credit for it in an act of plagiarism. Plagiarism is
defined as, "using others' ideas and words without clearly
acknowledging the source of that information"* and includes:
- "another person's idea, opinion, or theory;
- any facts, statistics, graphs, drawings--any pieces of
information--that are not common knowledge;
- quotations of another person's actual spoken or written
words; or
- paraphrase of another person's spoken or written words."*
Finally, I also agree that I will follow all rules and regulations
posted on the site, knowing that if I don't I risk banning from
the site. I also understand that if I am banned that Floetix.com
does not forfeit any rights.
